Applications and Approval

Submitting an application to VidID does not guarantee acceptance.

We may review your channel, content, ownership status, copyright history, platform eligibility, account standing, and any other relevant information before approving access to our services.

We reserve the right to reject any application for any reason, including but not limited to:

  • Insufficient proof of rights ownership
  • Copyright disputes
  • Misleading information
  • Low content quality
  • Reused or unoriginal content
  • Platform policy concerns
  • Risk of fraudulent claims
  • Content that may breach laws, platform rules, or third-party rights
5

Rights Ownership

You remain the owner of your content.

By using VidID, you confirm that:

  • You own or control the rights to the content you submit.
  • You have the legal right to authorise VidID to protect, claim, monetise, manage, or administer that content through supported rights management systems.
  • Your content does not infringe another person's copyright, trademark, privacy rights, publicity rights, or other legal rights.
  • You will not submit content that includes third-party material unless you have permission, a licence, or a valid legal right to do so.
  • You will provide evidence of ownership, licensing, or authorisation if requested.

VidID does not take ownership of your content. Our role is to help administer, manage, detect, claim, monetise, protect, or report on the use of eligible content through supported systems and services.

6

Authorisation to Act

By submitting content, channel information, media files, metadata, links, or ownership information to VidID, you authorise VidID to act on your behalf for the purpose of providing the agreed services.

This may include:

  • Registering eligible content into supported rights management systems
  • Detecting unauthorised uploads or reuse
  • Placing monetisation claims where appropriate
  • Reviewing disputes
  • Releasing claims where required
  • Whitelisting approved channels or partners
  • Communicating with platforms, partners, or service providers where necessary
  • Managing revenue reports and claim data
  • Taking reasonable action to protect or administer your content rights

This authorisation is limited to the services provided by VidID and does not transfer ownership of your content to VidID.

7

No Guarantee of Results

VidID will make reasonable efforts to provide the services professionally and effectively. However, we do not guarantee:

  • That every copied, stolen, or reuploaded video will be found
  • That every claim will be accepted
  • That every claim will generate revenue
  • That every platform will approve, process, or maintain a claim
  • That revenue will be fixed, predictable, or guaranteed
  • That any specific amount of money will be earned
  • That all infringing content will be removed, monetised, or identified
  • That third-party platforms will always act in a particular way

Content ID, Rights Manager, copyright tools, monetisation systems, revenue reporting, and claim decisions may depend on third-party platforms and their own rules, systems, policies, algorithms, and review processes.

8

Revenue and Payments

Where VidID collects, administers, or reports revenue on your behalf, revenue share terms will be agreed separately by email, contract, dashboard agreement, onboarding confirmation, or another written agreement.

Unless otherwise agreed in writing:

  • Revenue is calculated after platform deductions, refunds, chargebacks, adjustments, taxes, invalid traffic adjustments, reversals, or other third-party deductions.
  • Payments are made only after VidID receives cleared funds from the relevant platform, partner, or payment provider.
  • Payment dates may vary depending on third-party reporting and payment schedules.
  • Dashboard earnings, reports, or estimates may be provisional and may change due to third-party adjustments.
  • VidID may withhold payments where there is a dispute, suspected fraud, ownership issue, chargeback, invalid traffic concern, tax issue, or platform investigation.
  • VidID may deduct agreed commission, fees, bank fees, currency conversion fees, or other approved charges before payment.
  • You are responsible for your own tax reporting, invoices, VAT obligations, accounting, and legal compliance.
9

Dashboard Access

If you are given access to a VidID dashboard, you must keep your login details secure and confidential.

You agree not to:

  • Share your login with unauthorised people

  • Upload false, misleading, illegal, or unauthorised information
  • Use dashboard data for unlawful purposes

We may suspend or restrict dashboard access at any time for security, maintenance, misuse, suspected fraud, policy concerns, or operational reasons.

You may submit links, videos, audio, images, files, metadata, descriptions, ownership documents, channel URLs, and other materials to VidID.

You retain ownership of your submitted materials. However, you grant VidID a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use, store, review, process, copy, display internally, analyse, submit, register, and communicate those materials as needed to provide our services.

Copyright Disputes and Third-Party Claims

You are responsible for ensuring you have the correct rights to any content submitted to VidID.

If a dispute, counterclaim, legal complaint, ownership challenge, platform investigation, or rights issue arises, you agree to cooperate with VidID and provide accurate evidence of ownership, licensing, or authorisation.

VidID may pause claims, release claims, suspend content, suspend payments, or terminate services if ownership is unclear, disputed, or risky.

You agree to indemnify VidID against losses, claims, damages, costs, legal expenses, platform penalties, or liabilities arising from content you submit, false ownership claims, copyright disputes, or misuse of our services.

You agree that:

  • Third-party platforms may change their rules at any time.
  • VidID does not control third-party platform decisions.

We aim to keep our website, dashboard, and services available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access.

Services may be unavailable due to maintenance, technical issues, cyber incidents, third-party outages, platform changes, updates, or circumstances outside our control.

We may update, change, pause, remove, or discontinue any part of our website, dashboard, or services at any time.

16

Where no separate written agreement exists, VidID may confirm commercial terms by email or onboarding confirmation.

You agree to pay any agreed fees, commissions, or deductions connected to your use of the services.

17

Cancellation and Termination

Either you or VidID may end the service relationship in line with the agreed contract, onboarding terms, or written agreement.

Unless otherwise agreed in writing:

  • You may request cancellation by contacting VidID.
  • VidID may require reasonable notice to remove, release, transfer, or close active claims.
  • Some claims, reports, adjustments, or payment cycles may continue after cancellation due to platform processing times.
  • Any unpaid revenue or outstanding fees may be settled after final reports and platform payments are received.
  • VidID may terminate immediately if you breach these Terms, misuse the service, provide false information, or create legal or platform risk.
18

Intellectual Property

All VidID branding, logos, website design, dashboard design, software, systems, text, graphics, trademarks, service names, processes, databases, reports, and materials belong to VidID or its licensors.

You may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, sell, lease, scrape, reverse engineer, or exploit any VidID intellectual property without written permission.
